We are Dan and Sue Gassner.  Our family owned business was “officially” launched in May 2016.  Prior to that, Dan created pieces by request only.  Dan has been a fabricator and iron worker for over 30 years.  We have been married for over 30 years and have two daughters, Kayla (Nate) Trautmann and Tanya (Zach) Michalski.  We also have our “meaty” dog, Chloe and one Grandson, McCauley.

Update - On May 28, 2022 we closed our retail location so that we could focus on custom projects for customers.  When we attend markets, we will post these on our Facebook Page as well as here on the website.  Please call for appointments to discuss a custom project.

 

Metal art and custom fabrication was something that Dan started initially as a hobby a few years ago.  Since then we have been getting more and more requests and decided to move to the next level.  Since then we have added a CNC Plasma table to our repertoire.  Dan handles the fabricating, welding and assembly of the projects.  Susan handles the designing and cutting on the plasma table.

Bent Outa Shape LLC provides custom fabrication and metal art to fit your needs.  Our products are cut from 20 gauge to 1/2″ plate, stainless or copper.  These can be left raw steel, primed or painted.

Your personal design, which is unique to you, can be cut to any size.  Names, and other items, can be introduced into almost any metal art cutting as a personal touch, for a more personalized gift for the special someone in your life.   Simply provide us some details of what you are looking for and we can bring your project to life.  No two pieces are ever the same.  While working on your project, your project is the most important thing we are focusing on.

Email is a great way to converse as you share your thoughts and then we can get you a design sent to you.  With your final approval, the metal is then cut and readied for you.
